About

Archival Arts' mission is to provide high-quality digital capture and limited edition prints on watercolor and canvas media to artists and galleries at reasonable rates. Our extensive experience in digital imaging and state-of-the-art equipment makes our workflow more efficient and therefore less expensive than most giclee studios. We have been serving the Baltimore/D.C. area for over 15 years.

In addition to our capture and printing services, we offer canvas stretching, framing, and finishing services, making Archival Arts a one-stop solution for any artist or photographer interested in selling high-quality reproductions of their work.

In our quest for the perfect giclee print, Archival Arts is equipped with a TTI digital copystand. This system is specifically designed to scan fine art originals. It includes a Phase One XF camera with a Phase One IQ180 digital back that renders clean resolution up to 244 megabytes per capture. Our super sharp lens allows for enlargements many times larger than the original.

Our Epson large format printers print on 44-inch rolls of watercolor, lustre, metallic, or poster media and up to 64-inch rolls of canvas media. With custom media profiling and Macintosh hardware, our lab is one of the finest giclee labs on the east coast.

Ask any of our clients—we are committed to educating our artists about the giclee process and researching new industry trends to help give you a leg up on your competition.
